This program is perfect for those who work full time or cannot travel to become a full time student. Distance learning could be the perfect solution. Our methodology is communicative, developing all four skills at the same time and it is also instructor-led with a teacher live over the Internet (web conference).

Distance learning, particularly in its online form, does seem ideally suited to nontraditional students who may be pressed by job and family concerns and still desirous of knowledge. It is also a great opportunity for those who are going to travel to learn the language by working on their “Survival Skills” before traveling or brushing up on their previous knowledge of the language.

Our Spanish training methodology via Internet is unique in our country. Students don't have to attend a physical classroom; they just use their high speed internet access to attend the live audio and video class via their computers. While the teacher writes and shares the lessons with the students via the Internet, the student interacts with the teacher through the conference. All this is done in real time simultaneously.

Don’t leave home or your office to learn Spanish. Even if you are traveling outside of your city or country, you can take your class from your hotel or from anywhere. You will only need a high speed Internet connection.

How is the schedule arranged?

The student arranges a class schedule based on the number of hours, days of the week and time. The schedule is arranged for each level. Once the level is completed and a new begins the class schedule can be modified to fit your needs.

The benefits of having a private one to one class, is that you learn faster with live instructor-led training.
The teacher will concentrate on the areas that you need to improve the most and is able to keep a record of your performance and improvement in the language learning process. You will have personal attention and a group of academic directors ready to offer all of the support needed. All of our teachers have a college degree in teaching languages and have plenty of experience in teaching Spanish. We do not hire teachers just based on their knowledge of the language.

When students are not in class, they will have activities to be done at home, articles to read and related academic material that will keep them in touch with the language.With our method via Internet, you'll learn by immersing yourself in a foreign language and participating in real conversations. Build your vocabulary and language skills with interesting dialogs and activities. Learn to speak like a native with realistic conversations.

Our Program: Our nine level Spanish for Life Program was developed by professional academic directors and teachers with extensive experience in teaching Spanish to speakers of other languages. Our program has 3 beginner’s levels, 3 intermediate levels and 3 advanced levels. Each level consists of 25 hours.

We will have students take a placement test if they have prior knowledge of the language and would like to begin at a higher level. If you do not have any prior knowledge, then you will begin in level one of our program.

Upon successful completion of each module (75 hours), the student will receive a certificate from ISSO – Spanish For Life Program based on the number of hours taken. At the end of every level (25 hours) the student will receive an academic report on the student’s progress.

Course Content – Beginner’s Module:

Introductory expressions and phrases.
The alphabet, present tense verbs, adjectives, articles.
Dialogs in different contexts: At the office, at the airport, exchanging money, making a hotel reservation, answering personal questions, greetings, meeting people etc...

What are the minimum computer requirements?
Most modern computers can easily handle the web collaboration as long as the following requirements are met:

Windows computer. Pentium 1 GHz processor or higher Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser to be version 5.0 or higher. Internet connection (cable, DSL, High Speed). We also provide private one to one lessons in our centers located throughout Colombia. We have centers in Bogota, Cali, Medellin, and Barranquilla. We will help our students with housing, visa, Salsa lessons, airport pick up, tours and much more.
